7 Mile Rides is a small business, started by three graduates of the University of Connecticut who saw the need for dependable and safe transportation, 24 hours a day, in and around Seven Mile Island. We are New Jersey’s first and only transportation service using high-tech, eco-friendly, zero emission vehicles.
In times like these, when major emphasis is being placed on renewable sources of energy, we felt that our specialized 4-wheeled vehicles were the perfect fit for Seven Mile Island . We believe that it is important to offer an alternative to gas-powered vehicles that, as we all know, are harmful to the environment. We must preserve the beauty and serenity of the island for future generations.
Our Low Speed, electric vehicles are built in the U.S.A. and are backed by Chrysler and GE. They are 100% zero emission cars and come equipped with High intensity LED lighting and safety belts for the ultimate in visibility and protection. Our vehicles are also outfitted with bucket seats and video monitors, as well as audio systems to ensure your comfort and enjoyment.
We offer a wide variety of services including our popular beach service allowing you to throw all your chairs, coolers, and toys in our vehicles, while keeping the sand out of yours. Naturally our evening restaurant and bar service is an invaluable resource. Our goal is to keep Seven Mile Island safe for everyone to enjoy, so allow us the pleasure of being your designated driver.
